What is ACH?

What is ACH?

Automated  Clearing House  (ACH) is  an  electronic  network for  financial  transactions in the United States.  ACH  processes  large  volumes  of credit  and  debit  transactions  in batches.  ACH  credit  transfers include  direct  deposit, payroll, vendor payments, direct  debit  transfers,  and other  kinds  of bills.
Some business prefer to use  ACH  to  have  customers  pay directly to their bank account  rather than requesting a physical (paper) check or credit/debit cards, or some other form of payment.
Use ACH to make  payments  like:
  • Business-to-business
  • Direct  debit  payments
  • payment  of consumer  bills  such  as  loans, utilities,  insurance  premiums, rents,  and any  other regular  payment
  • Direct  deposit
  • E-commerce  payments
  • Employee  payroll
Direct  Deposit  via  ACH  and Direct  Debit  via  ACH  are  simple,  safe, convenient  and cost-effective electronic  payments  options  that  businesses  of all  sizes  can  utilize  to make  and receive  payments.
ACH helps  reduce  errors, saves  valuable  resources, and provides  much greater security  than  with paper checks, as you pay  bills  and get  paid electronically.
When  you  schedule  payments, our system automatically  sends  ACH  payments  to any  vendor that is  set  up for electronic  payment.  And setting up your  vendors  is  simple  and easy,  too.
After that,  you  never have  to think  about  it  again. Get  paid  faster, automatically  and  at  the  same  time  every  month!
