Current Merchant has cash registers that include a wish-list of features, like inventory tracking, customer loyalty, employee time clock and labor scheduling, credit card processing and cash management. A detailed reporting interface helps you make smarter business decisions.
We also offer pre-paid wireless, check processing, cash advance and bill payment systems, with ACH.

Through Current Merchant, you have the support of Capital Bankcard for all payment processing, chargeback management and reporting tools.
About the Owner, Sam Tartaglia
In 2005, I got my start in the greater Seattle area offering prepaid wireless and phone cards to convenience stores. At the same time, I also owned and managed over 300 point of sale terminals. I wanted to find a way to combine these and diversify my business.
Credit card processing had a similar software application and could be downloaded onto point of sale terminals. My clients were already using these point of sale terminals to sell wireless pins to customers. I was able to effectively combine the two, and offer my clients a more valuable service.
I continued working with my clients and gained more experience and knowledge of payment processing and transaction types. I received my certification as a Certified Payment Professional (CPP) in May 2012.
I soon discovered that merchants were being charged far too much for credit card processing. So I was able to offer more affordable credit card processing. I soon developed a clientele of more than 500 merchants.
My team and I began to offer other affordable equipment such as computerized cash registers, and the technical support that merchants needed. Our merchants benefited immediately by automating their operations.
Many companies offer point of sale equipment and/or credit card processing and other services. But, in my experience, very few will actually help the merchant to use, understand and keep current with the products they provide.
I believe that if you sell a product or service to a customer, you should stand by and make sure that the customer is able to fully benefit. Current Merchant was founded for this reason.
